2018, in the category of Resource Sustainability | Water Stewardship \/ Waste Management and Conservation- Wastewater Processing, for the project of integrated management of high-fat wastewater, which is implemented in collaboration with Democritus University of Thrace and the Department of Environmental Engineering.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The possibility of integrated management was given to the company through the study, design, construction from scratch and operation of a pilot installation connected to the rendering unit. In the pilot installation, with the development of the innovative technology, the waste processing produces biogas with the possibility of converting it into electricity, able to meet the company\u2019s needs.
